One of the biggest misconceptions about voice acting, is that how successful you will become depends entirely on the sound of your voice. Voice over has very little to do with sound of your voice. There are voice actors who have beautiful voices who are struggling to make a living. There are also voice actors who have seemingly average voices, who are incredibly successful. This is voice "acting" and this has more to do with your acting abilities than it does the sound of your voice.

Voice over, like any artistic medium, requires a certain amount of natural talent to be successful. You can teach technique, but you can't teach talent. You either have it or you don't. A brutal reality that many refuse to see.
